Visit to learn about the Confidential Defense File on the Disappearance of Minerva
On Thursday, July 12, 2018, a delegation of the families Mrs. Martine Coustal widow of Marcel Coustal, Mr. Jean-Michel Cailliau brother of Patrice Cailliau, cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_Hervé and André Fauve sons of André Fauve went to the Defense History Department in Vincennes to read the file containing the archives relating to the disappearance of the Minerva until then_cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_covered by Secret Défense.
It took the 4 of them more than 7 hours just to browse the contents of these archives without even having time to read everything.
You can find everything there, documents are duplicated, sometimes misclassified. The file has obviously not been redacted, everything is mixed up. A purge would have required sorting and filing to ensure that duplicate documents were not overlooked.
They find no new element that has not been known since 1968.
We do not feel, or little, concern vis-à-vis the families of the disappeared or the desire to communicate anything about the circumstances of the tragedy.
You will find online the main pages of the report are to follow. This is the main document without the annexes. Too many pages to upload. (The report click HERE)
